A media production company based in the heart of central London.

Genertik specialises in music videos, documentaries, viral media campaigns, DVD production and so on.

More often than not our work has an alternative/futuristic/retro and/or seminal edge to it.

Music genres that inspire us are Metal / Industrial / Classical / Garage Rock / J-Rock / Indie Surf / Techno / Electro etc.

Subjects we have covered in the past for projects include; film and Internet censorship, renewable energy, underground music sub-cultures, Japanese rock, New York City punk rock film makers and much more.

We are not limited to just one genre or particular scene. Far from it, we embrace ideas like we embrace technology and we are open for anything that we, as a young company with a young staff, might find interesting.

Our staff have overseen projects that have been broadcast around the world, including: MTV (UK & Japan), Rockworld TV (UK), Bravo (UK), Channel 4 (UK), BBC 3 (UK), Cinemax (USA), Showtime (USA), ABC Rage (Australia) and so on.

Our staffs clients over the years have included the likes of Virgin Atlantic, The Watermark Group PLC, Football 365, ZoomSports (Asia), Oracle Systems, Odeon Entertainment, Genersys PLC and we’ve even dabbled in politics, having prepared video for the Labour Party conference in Bournemouth and John (Two Jags) Prescot’s birthday party, at the House of Commons!

Our music videos and documentaries have been featured on websites and TV stations around the world. As an example, Electric Eel Shock’s Scream for Me video has aired on TV stations in 14 countries. (click here to watch a clip of it). From SpaceshowerTV in Japan to the dark depths of NRK Norway, our media is always suited for the worldwide youth audience.

Managing Director, David Kenny was one of the first people to embrace online video back in 1999. When 56k was the standard phone-line speed, David was zig-zagging across Europe, producing and directing exclusive content for Asian and UK sports websites and Champions League football clubs, which really set the tone for independent companies taking on the likes of BSkyB and the BBC in the streaming video realm. This reached a pinnacle with his coverage of Euro 2000 for Football365, which included thrice daily news and features broadcast from throughout Europe and streamed to a captive daily audience of tens of thousands.
